Since 1978, after the foundation of the company, Mateco has been acting in Italy’s national, as well as the international, transport and shipment sectors.
As a specialized operator in oversize transportations Mateco can offer the collaboration to your shipments of each size and weight.
Mateco’s fleet and dedicated working teams provide service to both small companies as well as to the most important corporates specialized in the planning and constructions of oil drilling sites, power plants and petrochemical installations.
Since 1995 the punctuality, constancy and dedication of the work team, together with their professionality and expertise, have allowed Mateco to operate in line with the ISO 9001 regulations and then to obtain the ISO 14001 certification.
Joining the Bracchi Group
In 2024, the Bracchi Group fully acquired Mateco, enhancing its service portfolio and strengthening its European market presence.
This integration is set to generate projected revenues of €230 million, with nearly 400,000 square meters of storage space and over 650 employees in Italy, Germany, Poland, and Slovakia.
The group is positioned among Europe’s top logistics and special transport providers, offering services like special & heavy transport, intermodal solutions, FTL, LTL, groupage, on-board crane transport, and integrated logistics for diverse industrial sectors.
